Yes, you can get direct admission to B.Tech in Bangalore through management quota seats. Here is the complete process:
What is the management quota? Many private engineering colleges reserve seats for direct admission outside the entrance exam process.
Eligibility: You typically need 45-50% in your 10+2 exams (the exact figure varies by college), with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as mandatory subjects. JEE Main or COMEDK scores are not required, though some colleges run their own test or interview for management seats.
The process:
- Research colleges: Shortlist Bangalore colleges offering your preferred branch and check their admission process.
- Check eligibility: Confirm you meet the academic requirements.
- Apply: Submit the separate management quota application with your mark sheets and documents.
- Selection: Colleges may interview you or shortlist on Class 12 marks.
Keep in mind: Management quota seats are limited and cost more than merit seats, so apply early. Also see our answers on doing B.Tech without JEE and direct admission in engineering colleges.
