Sophia High School Bangalore Overview

Founded in 1949 by Mother Anderson of the Religious Order of the Sacred Heart, Sophia High School is one of the reputed schools in Bangalore. The Sisters of Notre Dame have been running the school since 1972. It is located on the Palace Road and is an all-girls school. The school is affiliated to the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE). 

The school believes in the overall development of students, both personally and academically. To this end, the school provides a supportive environment and encourages students to participate in many extracurricular activities. The school strives to offer a multicultural and friendly environment where students can successfully learn and develop many skills. 

Sophia High School functions under the able guidance of Sr. Alpana Palatty SND (High school) and Sr. Vishala (primary school). They have a rich experience in nurturing and mentoring young minds. The school makes sure that all girls completing schooling from the institution develop a profound capacity for giving and are able to respond empathetically to the social realities of the time.
