The institute is led by Professor J Philip, who was the former director of IIM Bangalore and former Dean of Xavier School of Management, XLRI, Jamshedpur.

XIME Chennai envisions a global business school that is one of the leading business schools in India. It offers a single PGDM course but specializes in Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Operations, Information Technology, and Analytics. There is also medical insurance available for every student. It follows a trimester system with the first-year syllabus emphasizing foundational subjects, and the second year covering specialization subjects.

Qualifying Requirements

Grading is done on an 8 CGPA scale, where 8 CGPA is the highest score and 0 CGPA is the lowest score. 

In academics, a minimum of 4.5 CGPA is required for qualification from the first year to the second year and a minimum CGPA of 5 is a must to qualify as a graduate in the program and for the award of a diploma.

Attendance

Students are bound to have a 90% attendance; however, the institute expects a 100% attendance from them.

 

PGDM Post Graduate Diploma in Management Eligibility Bachelor’s Degree (any discipline) from a recognized university  a minimum aggregate of 50% marks for all subjects taken together (a relaxation of 5% will be given for SC/ST candidates, which makes it to 45%). 35 % score in any of the Common Admission Test (CAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, MAT, GMAT or TANCET (Only for Chennai campus). Note: Final-year students can also apply, but should have their exams completed by 25th June 2026 and produce results before 30th September 2026. Fees  Total of Rs. 9,90,000 for both the years. Note: All applications must be submitted through online mode only. The candidate doesn’t have to send a physical copy of the application.

The candidates will be shortlisted with the following criteria:
