Xavier Institute of Management & Entrepreneurship offers a 2-year Post Graduate Diploma in Management. The course has been designed as a rigorous, fully residential program. With active partnerships with the startup ecosystem, it aims to develop industry-ready managers.

Post Graduate Diploma in Management
The course of the Post Graduate Diploma in Management is divided into a 2-year trimester system. Each year has three terms with a total of 69 core courses, 7 field activities and 38 electives.
There is an annual intake of 120 students in the Chennai branch of XIME.

The first program, Summer Internship, gives the students practical knowledge of working with real-world challenges. It is a mandatory part of all MBA and PGDM courses in the country.
Socially Useful and Productive Activity helps the students in getting real-world exposure to how NGOs work and understand deeply the challenges faced by them.
Qualifying Requirements
Grading is done on an 8 CGPA scale, where 8 CGPA is the highest score and 0 CGPA is the lowest score.
In academics, a minimum of 4.5 CGPA is required for qualification from the first year to the second year and a minimum CGPA of 5 is a must to qualify as a graduate in the program and for the award of a diploma.
Attendance
Students are bound to have a 90% attendance; however, the institute expects a 100% attendance from them.

Note: Final-year students can also apply, but should have their exams completed by 25th June 2026 and produce results before 30th September 2026. FeesTotal of Rs. 9,90,000 for both the years. Note: All applications must be submitted through online mode only. The candidate doesn’t have to send a physical copy of the application. |
The candidates will be shortlisted with the following criteria:
- Test scores carry 35% weightage.
- Academic scores carry 15% weightage.
- Group discussion carries 40% weightage
