Question From Jyoti Gupta

What Happens After NUCAT Result is Declared?

After the NUCAT result is released, the next step is counselling and admission. Many students check their score but get confused about what to do next. So, it is important to understand the process properly and complete each step on time.

First, students need to download their NUCAT scorecard and check their rank. Based on the score and seat availability, students are called for counselling.

During the counselling process, students usually have to:

  • Register for counselling
  • Choose their preferred branch
  • Submit or verify documents
  • Pay the admission fee to confirm the seat

Students with higher scores generally get better chances for popular branches like Computer Science, AI & ML, Cyber Security, and Data Science.

Documents Required After NUCAT Result

Once students are shortlisted for counselling, they need to complete the document verification process before admission confirmation. During this step, the university verifies academic and personal documents submitted by the student.

Students are generally asked to keep the following documents ready:

  • NUCAT scorecard
  • 10th marks card
  • 12th marks card
  • Transfer Certificate
  • Aadhaar Card or any valid ID proof
  • Passport-size photographs
  • Category certificate (if applicable)

Students should carry both original documents and photocopies during counselling. Original documents are checked for verification, while photocopies may be required for submission during the admission process.
