Below is the complete KCET counselling registration process for 2026, explained in simple terms.
Step 1: Visit the Official KEA Website
- Go to the official KEA KCET counselling portal
- Click on UGCET / KCET 2026 Counselling 2026
- Select the Engineering Admissions option
Counselling registration is mandatory for all KCET-qualified students.
Step 2: Login & Counselling Registration
Log in using:
- KCET application number
- Date of birth
- Create a password and security pin
- Verify personal details shown on the screen
Ensure your name, rank, category, and marks are correct.
Step 3: Document Verification
Documents usually required:
- KCET admit card & scorecard

Step 5: Mock Allotment
- KEA releases a mock seat allotment

Step 6: Final Seat Allotment

- Status will show Seat allotted or No Seat allotted
Step 7: Accept the Seat & Pay Fees

- Choose the required option (freeze / float / reject)
- Pay the KEA admission fee online
- Download the allotment letter
Step 8: Report to the College
- Visit the allotted college within the given deadline
- Submit original documents
- Complete admission formalities
