Admissions to all classes at Vidya Niketan are processed online. The school issues application forms online once every year. 

Montessori

The school follows the Maria Montessori method of teaching in its Montessori classes. Children aged 4+ are admitted to the Montessori section. Parents should apply online and submit the relevant documents. Once verification is over, the school confirms admission on payment of fees.

Primary (Std I–IV)

The primary section consists of classes from I to IV. Admission notification is issued if there arises any vacancy in these classes.

Parents should fill out the application form online and submit relevant documents. Entrance test is conducted, and students are selected based on merit. Once the selection intimation is sent to parents, they should pay the fees and confirm the seats. 

Middle school (Std V–VII)

Admissions to middle school are also based on vacancies. The school issues a notification seeking applications online. Parents have to fill out the form and submit the necessary documents online.

Admission to the middle school sections is also based on entrance tests. Students are selected based on merit and informed through email. 

High school (Std VIII–X)

High school admissions are based on vacancies that arise during the academic year. The school calls for applications by issuing a notification on its website. Parents seeking admission should fill out the form online and wait for intimation of the entrance examination.

Students who clear the entrance exam are admitted to the respective classes upon successful payment of fees.

ISC section

Classes XI and XII follow the ISC syllabus. Students can seek admission to science, commerce, or the humanities stream. All candidates should have passed the class X or equivalent examination from a recognized board of study. 

Application forms should be filled out online, mentioning the stream of choice. The school admits students based on their performance in the class X board examination. Once admission is confirmed, parents have to remit the relevant fees according to the stream of choice.

Section for Alternative Studies (SAS)

There is a section for alternative studies where students follow the NIOS curriculum. This is for classes VII–X. A pre-admission test is conducted to determine the strength of students in academics.

International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE)

IGCSE is a 2-year programme for students aged 14 to 16 years. The school offers five curriculum areas in IGCSE, namely, languages, humanities and social science, science, mathematics, and professional and creative lessons.
