Courses Offered in Akash Institute of Medical Sciences

1. Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)

The MBBS program at AIMSRC has a duration of 4.5 years, followed by a 1-year internship. The program focuses on providing students with comprehensive medical knowledge and clinical skills training, covering subjects such as anatomy, physiology, pathology, internal medicine, surgery, and obstetrics and gynecology.

Fee Structure: 

• Government Quota: Approximately ₹1,70,000 per year, with a total fee of around ₹8,50,000)
• Management Quota: Approximately ₹5,50,000 per year, with a total fee of around ₹27,50,000
• NRI Quota: Approximately ₹16,00,000 per year, with a total fee of around ₹80,00,000.

Eligibility:

• Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, achieving a minimum of 50% marks (40% for reserved categories).
• Candidates must be at least 17 years old by December 31 of the admission year.
• Candidates must qualify for the NEET UG entrance exam and participate in the Karnataka NEET UG counseling process conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).

2. Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS)

AIMSRC offers a variety of MD/MS programs, each with a duration of 3 years. These programs aim to deepen students' medical knowledge and research capabilities, covering fields such as anatomy, biochemistry, microbiology, general medicine, general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, and more..

Fee Structure:

• Government Quota: Approximately ₹2,14,000 per year, with a total fee of around ₹6,42,000.
• Management Quota: Approximately ₹3,45,000 per year, with a total fee of around ₹10,35,000.
• NRI Quota: Approximately ₹16,20,000 per year, with a total fee of around ₹48,60,000.

Eligibility:

• Candidates must hold an MBBS degree from an NMC-recognized medical college, with a minimum of 50% marks (40% for reserved categories).
• Candidates must complete a one-year internship by March 31 of the admission year.
• Candidates must qualify for the NEET PG entrance exam and participate in the Karnataka NEET PG counseling process conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).

Other Courses

Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT):

• Fee Structure: Approximately ₹40,000–₹50,000 per year, with a total fee of around ₹1,60,000–₹2,00,000.
• Eligibility: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Science stream subjects.

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Nursing:

• Fee Structure: Approximately ₹60,000–₹70,000 per year, with a total fee of around ₹2,40,000–₹2,80,000.
• Eligibility: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, achieving a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved categories).
