Engineering admission 2024 at PES University

PES University offers B. Tech in six disciplines. Candidates should register online at the university website and submit relevant documents to apply for admission. Admissions to B. Tech at PES University are through the JEE Mains/ KCET/PESSAT entrance examination.

B.Tech admissions for 2024 are open now at PES University. PES Scholastic Aptitude Test (PESSAT) will be tentatively held between April 21 and May 12, 2024. The test is for 180 minutes and 120 minutes for lateral entry students. Students will be tested in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English. Classes will commence in July/August 2024.

The college also admits students through management quota. Candidates should contact the university admission office for the same.

Engineering admission process at PES University 

Candidates who wish to pursue engineering at PES University have three options to apply:

• Register and appear for PESSAT/KCET/both
• Register with JEE Mains scores

Registrations are done online at the university website. Candidates who have cleared the PESSAT will be called for counseling to compete for merit-based admission. The college allows provisional blocking of seats through a higher fee/management/NRI/PIO/OCI quota. Parents can write to admissions@pes.edu to learn more about provisional blocking.

Candidates should have obtained 50% aggregate marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry in 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board of study. There are various scholarships available for eligible students at PES University. 

The college specifies a separate list of documents to be submitted for admission through CET, PESSAT, JEE, and management quota. The common documents include: 

• Class 10 and 12 mark sheet (original)
• Transfer certificate
• Aadhaar card copy
• PAN card copy of both the parent and the student
• Migration certificate (if other than PU board)
• Colour passport size and stamp size photograph (each six copies)
• Original tuition fee receipt
• Passport and Visa copy for foreign nationals

• Eligibility Certificate From AIU (If the grading system is 10+2. This is applicable only for NRI/OCI/PIO candidates)

Note: 2 sets of self-attested photocopies of the following documents need to be submitted at the time of admission.
