MS Ramaiah Medical College was established in 1979 by the Gokula Education Foundation under the leadership of Sri M.S. Ramaiah. It is located in M.S. Ramaiah Nagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka, and is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
